I prefer WRPG's, to many good selection this gen.

I love both. Games like KOTOR, NWN2, and Oblivion have presented engrossing, large scale worlds that totally wrap you up in them.

But my favorite is JRPG. Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts are just too good to me. Great graphics, sound, story, everything comes together in them.

For me, I think that there's usually an extra layer of polish on JRPGs, which is why I usually prefer them. However, this gen is not showing that layer, and I'm slowly drifting away. There's still the occasional gem (thanks, Atlus!) that keeps me in the JRPG camp, but no longer will I think that a game is better just because it's J and not W.

i like both kinds if there good.

So far I only own one WRPG which is Dragon Age compared to at least 30 JRPGs, so I prefer JRPGs. Also, currently and for the foreseeable future there aren't any WRPGs that look interesting to me whereas there are so many great JRPGs coming out (WKC, SO4, Lunar Silver Star Harmony, Valkyria Chronicles 2, FFXIII, FF Versus XIII, Resonance of Fate, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, etc).

JRPG's until I die. I really can't explain it, but WRPG's bore the shit outta me. I can never get into them, the stories always feel very uninspired or extremely dull.
