Its nice to see everyone liking oblivion now, it was such a defining title for this generations RPG's.

Bethesda are already working on a Fallout MMO. They are not going to challenge Blizzard with a Fantasy MMO (at least not yet).

Elder Scrolls V will be a highly moddable singleplayer experience.

I really doubt it. The numbers of MMO's being made isn't what it used to be, developers seem to have learned that you can't dethrone WoW by just making a better MMO. Enough companies have been crushed by it.

Bethesda was supposed to announce a mystery MMO last year that never came to light, and some recent court filings suggested that the title might be a secret MMO not related to the "Fallout" series. Well, the new word on the Internet is that Bethesda's project is an "Elder Scrolls" MMO in the tradition of "World of Warcraft," and an announcement may be on its way soon.

The new title should be "very close to reveal by now,” according to an unnamed source speaking to VG247. Bethesda's official response was no comment, but the anonymous mole confirmed that the new game will be set in the "Elder Scrolls" universe.

Lucasarts already disappointed with a KOTOR MMO instead of KOTOR 3

it would be so annoying if We get a elder scrolls MMO instead of V.

Hopefully they stick to plans witht he Fallout MMO, as gamingchartzFTW said it would be silly trying to compete against WOW & ofcourse FF14.

Well, if I were a fan of the series before I'd probably have hated on it too. It was casualized for console gamers.

I played with mods though.

Don't worry, Elder Scrolls Online will be a separate game from TES V.

I've been a massive fan of the ES series and lore for a long, long time. I'd buy anything. That being said, I'd really love it if they set the next game away from Tamriel. I'd love to see the land where humans came from or the place where the Nerevarine went. Maybe even have the starting character be a daedra in a daedric realm!

The possibilities are endless!!! (also let me get naked this time!)

I also think the whole continent. There was a stament from bethesda and thy said they will keep increasing the maps more and more.

But as you can see every single region would be smaller then cyrodiil so they have to really let it happen on the whole continent

That would be really gigantic and the game would be probably on multiple DVDs. Plus for all missions it would atleast quadruple the time you need to solve everything. So 1000 hours for all quests would be perfect. I needed 260 hours for everything in TES4 and that was way to short for me.
