neither will move any consoles is the only correct answer MAG and Mass Effect type of games are on BOTH systems, the milks gone bad;(

Gaming make me feel GOOD!

To be quite fair, I'd say MAG would move the most consoles, however, not by many at all, the reason being that Mass Effect 2 is a sequel, meaning people will already have an X360/PC for the first one, whereas new people wouldn't buy a new console for a sequel when they know nothing of the story beforehand, unless they're willing to buy the prequel (Could happen, look at Uncharted 2)

MAG on the other hand, is a new IP, made by a pretty well known company (Zipper), and people tend to rave more about first party games, especially on the PS3, as they seem to always bring something new to the table, in this case, 256 players in a match, which is something that quite a few people would want to get into. I also think the advertisements for MAG seem... better, this is just me though, as I love the US PS3 advertisements, they're tons better than here in EU, and since the FPS/Shooter genre applies more in the US, it'd be able to move more consoles.

However, this is all my opinion, I mean, anything could happen, so we'll have to see just how many consoles are moved.

those are great arguments.but MAG is really going to need AAA reviews before it can push any hardware

none of them

Neither will I think.

I have to go for neither. Or at least, I don't think we'll see enough of a bump to be meaningful or clearly from these games. Mass Effect 2, for all the hype, is a hybrid RPG (although argubably getting lighter on the RPG and heavier on the combat with each iteration) that I can't see catching on with a broader audience beyond those who bought and enjoyed the first.

While MAG is new, and is positioning itself to offer something new (massive online battles) again I think most people who would want it already have a PS3.

GT5 I expect to shift consoles, not these two.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I think M.A.G, it could get a huge holiday boost, the idea of 256 mp online battles are quite appealing to the strong fps fanbase.

MAG has a much better chance of moving hardware.

Mass Effect 2 is a sequel to a well loved 360 game from 2007. The problem is, MAG brings more new things to online multiplayer. Where as Mass Effect 2 seems to have better graphics and continuing story.

MAG has player controlled objectives, player controlled advancement (the climbing up the command latter) and epic online battle gameplay.

They target different audiences as well. Nearly impossible to be 100% for sure though, til we see the numbers.

Nope, most pepole don't care that much about the reviews themselves, but what they're supposed to reflect - the quality of the game.

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.
