MAG has a much better chance of moving hardware.
Mass Effect 2 is a sequel to a well loved 360 game from 2007. The problem is, MAG brings more new things to online multiplayer. Where as Mass Effect 2 seems to have better graphics and continuing story.
MAG has player controlled objectives, player controlled advancement (the climbing up the command latter) and epic online battle gameplay.
They target different audiences as well. Nearly impossible to be 100% for sure though, til we see the numbers.
