I didn't look. I'm buying this game on day 1. I just wanted to say that I'm not a fan of sites posting the first portion of a game (Mass Effect 2) or on some occassions an entire playthrough of a game (Killzone 2) before a game is even released.

What I really want to know is, does he ever get any work done?

The game may be good overall, but those opening 9 minutes are inexcusable. Tutorial-schmutorial. Why does the tutorial have to be so boring? Why does it have to exist at all? Let me die for my mistakes, believe me I will learn from them.

I watched the later videos and the game certainly heats up, but if the first paragraph of a novel is the most important part, then the opening of the video game is also the most important part. I wouldn't blame anyone for taking this back to the store after 9 minutes of that.

More power to the people that want to play Heavy Rain but this intro is the sloppiest I've seen in years.

I detest the quality of that footage. I saw this on Qore and was disappointed that they wouldn't use a better quality presentation. That said, it does serve one purpose, to get the game's point across in some way.

I think Sony/Qore dropped the ball on the Qore demo, the quality was not that great but they did get the point of the game across. They lose points for using an older build of the game.

The video in the OP is for the first 9 minutes & the first 9 minutes seemed slightly disappointing, I never stated the whole game would be disappointing because of it.

To get used to the QTE actions. Not everybody has played these kind of games, you know.

And as for the red, I never implied that. No worries.

As stated this is not a game for everyone, its going to have a deep story and make you think. This is probably not a game thats going to sell like crazy. Its one of my most anticipated games this year and I like what I see, just not what I hear, I still cant get past the voice acting, its not bad it just sounds bad, it reminds me of Resident Evil PS1 voice acting, not in the quality of the voice acting but the sound....I think I just managed to confuse myself lol
