I'm creating this poll to see what the music tastes of the members here are. My favorite is Rock, or more specifically, metal. I'm also a fan of soundtracks.

And since music tastes are so diverse, here's some things to clear up. If you like metal, alternative, nu-metal, or other types, those all go under rock. Same with hip hop and r&b. If you like those, vote rap. And with all the other genres, you get the point. If you like a sub genre the best, just vote for the main genre it falls under.

And so here we go. What's your overall favorite genre in music?

Literally anything from Electro to Jazz. Generally I'm not the biggest fan of hip hop, but there is the occasional song that takes my fancy.

Metal/Hardcore is my absolute favorite (gotta love an epic breakdown).

I'm a huge fan of post-indiecore.

I'm a big fan of many sub-genres of music.
Rock: Progressive Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Acid Rock, Proto-Punk, Avant-Garde, Surf Rock, among others.
Blues: Mostly into acoustic blues of the Mississippi Delta variety though I do also frequently listen to Chicago and Piedmont blues as well.
Folk: I generally like any folk music both mainstream stuff and local bands. American and English folk as well.

Country music, most definately

Other: J-Pop, with gaming music in a close second. Of the choices in the poll, though, is my 3rd pick- classical.
