oh they made thier money back, and ummm killzone 2 had one televised commerical that aired one day before the games release, Halo 3 had it's own clothing, food, and book line before the first trailer

In terms of sales, Halo Reach will most likely win. However you must not forget about Microsoft's aging console, if sales for 360 do not pick up during Q3-Q4 of this year, Halo Reach may have sales no greater then 5-6 million. Doing Halo 3 numbers (10 million) will almost be impossible for this release. Reason why? The COD franchise has over taken the Halo franchise and a new COD game is releasing Q4 of this year, Halo will not stand a chance against it. In terms of graphics, KZ3 will win b/c judging from the screenshots Halo Reach looks worse then KZ2.

there both great but Reach has everything going for it

if it was me i would push kill zone back a month are 2 are until when they think reach's hype goes down, because then they can get a lot more press and possibly get a lot more hype for the game.

in my eyes it would get a great start and if they did it that way they don't have to go head to head with Reach

Both games will be good but no way will killzone compete with Reach on the sales front. Even if Killzone is the better game (which is all a matter of opinion) it will not beat reach. Killzone 2 was the perfect example of this. Great games do not always sell the greatest.

Are you willing to bet that Halo Reach won't sell more than 5 million? How deluded do you seriously have to be to think that Halo Reach will only sell 5 million, I mean seriously? Halo 3: ODST an overpriced expansion on an out-dated engine with no multiplayer, the main draw of Halo, has already sold 4 million and would probably break 6 million easy if Halo Reach wasn't so close to release.

Yeah you got it, the whole Uncharted thing was unneccesary unless he had some point that I missed. The whole point of mentioning Gears was to point out that even though I THINK it has better MP than Halo or any other game, I wouldn't go around saying that it has better MP as if it was a fact. I could argue my points all day but it doesn't matter since there are games that are more poular and I understand that it isn't for everyone.

 

Some people just seem to think that if they say something, it's automatically true as if there wasn't millions of people out there that disagree.
