First draft shown. No article yet created.

If you have any feedback please post it here and/or PM me.

Please, keep it safe, and after the release take a look at it once in a while... none of us (Well maybe just Hus) wants a Wiki with lots of coments from the guys of NGWars, etc...

By me:

Made with Blender + LuxRender

Might not be notable enough, some nutjobs have been deleting all kinds of video game articles.

They deleted Koopa Troopa, Goomba...Termina, they're deleting Great Sea, they deleted enemies from the "Enemies from the Legend of Zelda series" article (why remove information? it was perfectly valid)...they're basically deleting everything that isn't super notable.

1. This has been proposed before but no one seems to have the expertise to develop one.

2. In the interest of fairness there would have to be a Mac OS X (Dashboard) and Linux (various) implementation too, and also Windows XP if there is a suitable application.

If you are interested in trying Ubuntu or Linux in general, PM me and I will answer your questions and help you install it if you wish.

@Game_boy be sure to save anything you write on wikipedia to your computer.

Think twice before helping a friend in need.

@Duke Of Darkness: Of course.

OK people, I need references to VGChartz in mainstream media, preferably credited and explaining how wonderful VGChartz is.

So I guess this didn't work out?

It's been mentioned before that if you have Leopard for Mac, there is a feature that allows you to make a widget for this site. I have no idea what it would take to make a gadget though.

I also support a Wikipedia article. However I would stress the importance of our members respecting the neutrality of Wikipedia, and insist that a portion of the article be devoted to criticism of it's numbers.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I think you only need to be known by over 1,000 people to be notable enough for Wikipedia. VGChartz is more than notable enough. I will personally go to VGChartz's Wikipedia page all the time to defend it and undo any vandalism. Wikipedia keeps a history for the page, so you just gotta revert it to the previous version any time somebody vandalizes something. I've seen people do some pretty crappy vandal jobs over there. I saw somebody change Reggie's page so that his middle name was "nigga-boy." I took a screenshot, hit refresh, and it was back to normal.

Also make sure to list a section about VGChartz's coolest members and do a bio on Rubang B. That guy's totally awesome and loves this site. I hear he refreshes the main page here in his sleep.

I'm actually defending VGChartz numbers in yet another stupid argument on Joystiq right now!
