Holding out for Mass Effect PS3 Edition until about November 2010. After that I will finally be forced to cave in and get a 360. I would really hate to get a 360 right now and in a few months here it is coming to my preferred console. Mass Effect is undeniably an amazing RPG and experience as a whole. I cannot go without it much longer than that. I have played a decent amount of the first, but never finished it.

 

I would like to have discussions on the probability of it happening and if it were, when would it be?

I'll wait a little while for an announcement, if it doesn't come, I will not get a 360 just for one game, i'll be getting it on PC since mine is more than powerful enough to run it good enough for me...cheaper games on PC anyway



Just waiting for that PS Vita to come out so I can play some full featured games on the go with that beautiful screen and control scheme...

I'm in the same boat, ME2 looks good enough for me to re-buy a 360...and then there's also HALO: Reach.

There are so many rumours out there and honestly, if there's one 360 game I really want besides Halo or Gears on PS3, it's ME2.

Well its never been more likely than now ever since EA bought Bioware. Mass Effect IP is definitely not owned by MS, EA is all about MP games as virtually all their titles are, Bioware has referenced doing it more than once. Only thing missing is them just fucking saying it. Yet I have a feeling a Nondisclosure agreement with MS is behind this, they must have a timed exclusivity deal. These things usually last about 6 to 9 months so thats what I will give it.

Not gonna happen.

Unless MS were idiotic or thought it didn't matter. They held the publishing rights, and any deal that EA made with them was either a looooooooooooooooooong exclusivity, or it's simply not gonna happen.

3 years since the first ME launched on the 360 you want it on the PS3. ME2 on the PS3 would be pointless without playing through the first ME.

But having said that. Anything is possible. I actually would not be surprised if ME2 was released on the PS3 at a later date. Maybe ME and ME2 could be on a PS3 Blu-Ray game disc.

That would make my day.

But it's never going to happen.  The Mass Effect trilogy will be XBox360/PC exclusive.
