Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii Games Aimed At Teens And Up Get Black Boxes

"I want a specific color for shovelware please..."

That's probably going to invite just as much trolling as not. Just warning you.

And I also agree this is partly a marketing tactic. Any of those re-releases might get those if they have those ratings.

Seems Nintendo is doing what they can to help these games (and leaving less excuses for those third parties).

Great idea. Different box colors for various ratings.

Hope Zelda has Gold box and disc. That would be awesome.

what an odd idea, well maybe it'll serve to highlight some core games better

Seems a bit over the top if you ask me.

I don't agree. Nintendo is by far the most family-friendly and clean-imaged company in this industry. Doing this is an excellent way to inform parents of games that may have questionable content. Very smart by NCL.

NOA needs to implement this as well.

Is Japan only?

Pixel Art can be fun.

wow, it was so hard for them to make an M game they had to do this...

That's exactly what I feared. Their reputation seems more important than it should.

And for those looking for those games to see them better.
