Hey that's debatable, probably the only example would be the No More Heroes PS3/360 port, so far its Japan only but if it hits worldwide, it fits those conditions.

I think the Grinder from HVS is fucked now.

The next CoD7 will be the game after the sucessfull Mordern Warfare Reflex.

The Grinder will be next game after The Conduit, the game that didn't delivered the expected sales and quality and "bombed".

I don't know how HVS is going to launch an FPS with CoD pretty much monopolizing Wii's FPS market. That's just Kamikaze.

Probably because PS360 owners have better things to spend their money on than gimped 2 year old ports :P

I think the Grinder was screwed before. The same with Conduit 2.

HVS just cant compete with Infinity Ward/Treyarch experience.

Glad to see that MWR is doing great. Activision is definitely profiting from this title. It would be interesting to see what would have happened had it been advertised but hindsight is 20/20.

People also need to realize that not all 3rd party big franchises sell well on the Wii. It still is hard to gauge what will sell and what wont.

The burden of proof will be to some extent on HVS, but the Grinder is supposed to be a co-op game (2 local and apparently 4 online), so IF it does these things well enough, it should actually have an advantage over Cod7 (unless CoD7 also has similar features, that is).

I would guess being 4 player co-op online will at the very least ensure this one is hacker proof (since you will probably only play only with people you know/choose)

Why are people surprised to see a COD game sell, call of duty on the Wii has a history, both million sellers+, the call of duty name sells on the name. Even the W@W for the ps2 is almost a million and I didn't even know that game existed.

The "core" aspects of Madworld and Conduit are different than that of call of duty.
Madworld and the Conduit were brand new IP while COD is established franchise so that comparison doesn't make sense.

Calling a COD game core is nonsense, its a first person shooter, the preferred genre here in the US (and pretty much around the world), there is nothing core about it. Its just that some FPS shooters are successful such as Halo and COD, others are not such as the conduit and haze
