I read it as a Nintendo lead program, so this could actually be the start of the long awaited Wii version of 'Player's Choice' titles

I hope they'll do this with the Players Choice; there's so many great titles that could use a price drop. Im going to hold my tongue on this; i learned not to get hyped up for anything. That includes games, announcements etc. Plus they're always hush hush about this kind of stuff til they do say something.

Looks a bit fancy pants =P

Gotta add user driven budget titles based on quality is pretty fucking great.

Could this be that start of the return of player choice?

95% of gamers don't know they are noobs, the 5% who do won't be noobs for long

I was hoping they'd use the Nintendo Channel recommendations to do something like this. Hope it happens in America too. If I remember correctly only platinum recommended title is Metroid Prime Trilogy with quite a few gold.

But this is actually a really good idea because instead of purely basing it on sales, also can factor in what the fans actually thought of it. Good marketing point. Really is Player's Choice now haha.
