Dragon Age or Demon's Soul?!!!! Need some answers!!!!

Total:0

I tend to be a big story fan. Thus, I favor Dragon Age. The world of Dragon Age just felt awesome, especially the creepy nursey rhyme, lol.

I agree with Zelda owning Demon's Soul. Just making a game hard doesn't make it good, and I disagreed with the direction they took some of the gameplay aspects. I don't know about Baldur's Gate owning Dragon age, since I haven't really played enough Dragon Age, but I suspect it is true.

Out of the two, it really depends on what kind of game you want to play.

I really don't agree with your comment here, because you cannot compare two games from different genres just like this. If you were to compare a Zelda game to Demon's Souls, the only one you can use is Zelda II: Link's Adventure, which also had RPG elements and also had the overall difficulty increased. Although that wouldn't be a fair comparison as well, as Demon's Souls is actually a good RPG, Zelda II was just bad.

Also, didn't you missinterpreted the context of what GamingChartzFTW said? I think he meant that they're similar games to the precursors, but better in his opinion (I beg to differ with the Zelda opinion, but for the reasons I've stated above, you cannot compare different genres just like that.

I read GamingChartz's post wrong.

Undoubtedly, Demon's soul will be better. Trust me

First playthroughs in the Demon's Souls can be from 40-70 hours, depending on your skill and if you do most of the events.

Also, 41 hours for DA:O? Did you only do the main quest and few sidequests? It took me 85 hours, with all sidequests and DLC sidequests, no dialogue skipping and all characater quests done.

uhm little to no skipping and maybe half of the side quests
no personal quests
and just shale DLC, which is less then 20 mins long...

hmm 40-70 hrs you say

Oh ok, there are some sidequests and some character quests that are pretty long. But I also lost some time levelling up my characters too, especially my main team which was comprised or Morrigan, Leliana and Wynne, so that's probably why I had a large playtime.

Dragon Age by farrr.... plus there's a ton of DLC and an expansion coming soon. After buying it I can't see myself buying another game for a while. It has a ton of re playability, and a lot more fun then other games.

Unless you're a hardcore gamer. Then maybe Demon's souls would be better for you.
