Having played through both i would say DAO if you want a story but if you want some thing that will give you over 100hours of gameplay then get Demons Souls.

If you go with DAO then get it on the PC as its best played on PC. Console version is way to easy compared to the PC version.

In all honesty, if you are only going to ever get one of them, I would say Dragon Age. I'm about 40 hours into it, and almost done the main story, but there is still so much more that I want to do. I can see 100 hours coming out of it by the end. Demon's Souls is an amazing game itself, but after about 60 hours of playtime and NG+, I'm feeling a little burned out, and I don't really want to do a NG++ so I may be done with the game for awhile. I would highly recommend getting both though, as they offer amazing experiences.

I agree with Zelda owning Demon's Soul. Just making a game hard doesn't make it good, and I disagreed with the direction they took some of the gameplay aspects. I don't know about Baldur's Gate owning Dragon age, since I haven't really played enough Dragon Age, but I suspect it is true.

Out of the two, it really depends on what kind of game you want to play.

I don't know if thats what he's saying about demon's souls and dragon age. It looks to me likes it's Baldurs Gate + hearts = dragon age, which would make dragon age better I guess? Same with the other?

Story wise: More Dragon Age than Demon's Soul
Gameplay wise: Demon's Souls ALL the way.
Both: I say Demon's Souls's combat out weights the small edge DA holds over it for story(my opinion tho)

It depends on your taste's of RPG's , but I can say after only playing on for a few hours of Demon Souls how hard it can be, but it is so fun and addictive, and I am liking it better than Dragon Age.
I definitely think Dragon Age (on normal mode) is easier lol, and I almost have completed it without touching the AI of my characters, as I often swap between characters when I have to for healing etc. I might try Hard mode to force myself to using the AI features lol.

I say skip Dragon Age all together, go for Demon's Souls and Mass Effect 2(which will be way better than DAO)

Don't know if is it just me, but I actually think Demon Souls runs and looks better than Dragon Age, lol, but then again that is just an opinion.
