OT: I personally want to think ME2 will do it but I'm thinking Bioshock 2 should be able to pull it off.  Definitely a big release with a lot of hype and on more platforms which helps.

Mass Effect 2 will win on the 360. Bioshock 2 will win overall because of the multiple platform. I am very curious though what the metacritic score will be for Bioshock 2. Time will tell.

Bioshock, by far.

I'd say the only chance ME2 has is to outsell the PS3 version of Bioshock.

ME2 will outsell Bioshock 2 versions individually. ME2 will receive higher review scores than Bioshock 2. But ME2 has no chance of outselling Bioshock 2's combined sales because Bioshock 2 is multi-platform game(PS3/360/PC) whereas ME2 is an XBox 360 exclusive.

ME2 versus M.A.G. or Heavy Rain or Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Would be a fairer comparison when an exclusive game is compared against another exclusive game.
