actually PSP software is increasing (i might be wrong w/e) so more software and PSP go which gives sony like $160 profit per psp go is actually good business. Sony's stock went up by around 6 billion dollars in the last 4-5 months, so something must be going right.
*Yawn* Hardware sales, schardmare sales. Software is where it's at! 
And seeing New Super Mario Bros. Wii actually outsell Wii numbers is pretty darn cool if you ask me. Ah, and Army of Two: 40th Day outsold 360 numbers. Well done indeed!
Actually, The Beatles: Rock Band on Wii got a huge downwards adjustment... by around 300,000. Still above a million though.

There's no telling if the PSP Go will end up as being profitable, it takes R&D for the redesign, so it also needs to recoup the costs. Selling each unit above its' costs is not enough.
Also, everyone is cheering over high PS3 sales. If people only cared for profit, everyone would say, "X360 = profit. PS3 = loss." That would surely annoy some...
The X360 is doing fine. We're still very close to the holidays, so I'd wait a bit longer before things stabilize. It's silly to base longterm trends on such a small time period.

Despite the Italian past of die-hard Sony fans, PS3 lead on XB360 in France is quite stronger than here http://vgchartz.com/ehweekly.php
You can see from the charts that when PS3 is strong, the weekly lead too is stronger in France than in Italy.

Good god, I can't get over how many people here want so badly for the PS3 to pass the 360.. They're not even that different from eachother so why all the hate? 360 still has the better games IMO, and is a better deal. The only thing it had going against it was the dreaded RROD, but the models nowadays are better built, and they fix it for free now anyway.
