Forums - Microsoft - For Those Of You Buying "Final Fantasy XIII" For The Xbox 360

I'm getting the 360 version because I like the achievements system more and I trust it more...

As for versus and FF XIV online.... I don't see too much about versus and had XI online for three years without touching it. So they are not high priorities for me... I may breakdown and buy them for PS3 when they are cheap. But if XIV has a subscription cost that is a non-starter for me just as it has been for XI online for me.

If not, I won't matter at all.

Same here, I will buy it if it comes on x360 but if not, I don't really care because it doesn't look like a Final Fantasy game.

I already have a PS3. Will buy FFXIII for 360. Hopefully M$ can pay to bring the other game over to 360 too... I'm only doing this to spit Sony for buying their way into the market and killing Sega. REVENGE... n___n

lol...if you want to spite sony for buying their way in to the market and hurting Sega...Final Fantasy game is the right game to do it with on so many levels.

Will be getting this for 360. I like to have a running tally of what games i've played on 1 system. I only got my PS3 for the exclusives. I don't care about compressed audio/video, and disc swapping beats installing hands down.

I'm getting FFXIII and not Versus because Versus is gonna suck.

I'll wait till versus hits the 360. If it doesn't then thats their lost sale since I won't be buying a PS3 for awhile (My reason is because I am focused mainly on 360 gaming, look at my collection. Not because I hate Sony. I own a PSP and bought it brand new.)

It's just that simple.

@CommonMan

The OP probably doesn't even have a 360 and is just trying to make 360 owners feel bad for thier decision. As for your comment, it probably does answer the hidden intentions of this thread.

ignorant gamers... sony had nothing to do with segas demise. really how did sony's ps2 effect sega's dreamcast when the ps2 came out 2001 the year sega was already considering to drop the dreamcast and relinquish from the hardware race? not only that but sega was already having issues before then.  really read about sega's problems before *bleeping* *beep* gamers like yourelf keep spreading these dumb "sony iz teh crap they killz the dreamcast and sega" BS. ill name a few reasons

Sega of America: Bernard "Bernie" Stolar (destroyed the saturn, also priced the DC to low for Sega to make a profit)

Shemue 1: 78 million dollar expensives (pretty much put sega in a huge debt)

Pirating (starting hurting the sales of once considered successful game launches for DC)

Sega internal issues (problems internally with employees and region presidents)

Fierce competition of upcoming consoles (ps2, gamecube, xbox)

Crap Marketing of the Saturn outside of Japan.

Crap Marketing of the DC outside of North America (DC was considered a launch success in the U.S but considered a failure launch in Japan)

I was a big Sega supporter but really in all honesty sega just f***ed up and Sony had nothing to do with it.

Wow, I didn't remember this trailer. Looks epic. If the gameplay is on par with graphics, it could be a lot better than FF13, especially since being exclusive should allow it to be better than FF13 on the technical side (better gfx, no need to cut things due to DVD limitations).

Then again, I already own a PS3, so I can't answer to the OP.
