ill wait awhile i bought my ps3 in summer of 2007 it was a 60g

originally it cost 600$ then there was a price cut to 500$ gamestop offered 100$ if u traded a ps2 w 2 controllers and bought a ps3 i did that so i paid 400$ for the top of the line 60g ps3

back then they also had a offer that u get 5 blu rays free some mail in thing i did that too wen the blu rays came in the mail i didnt even open them i gave them back to walmart they gave me 120$ store credit so i paid like 280 for my ps3

also theres really no games wen consoles launch i tend to buy them about a year or 2 after release but if the ps4 doesnt have a controller i probably wont buy it anyway

First price drop. I'm never an early adopter. Saves me money and headache of launch bugs. Then again, people waiting until now for PS3s have no PS2 compatibility, no card readers, and only 2 USB ports, so there's a limit to how long I'll wait.

i will buy it or any other next gen console (that his standard controller isn't motion control) at launch time... even 600 euros is a bargain compares to what i spend in PC components for gaming! PS3 is now 300 euros witch is what a netbook cost... PS3 is way more value than any netbook and only the cheapest ones cost 300 or less... console gaming is way cheaper than anything... my wife spend more on shoes than me on console gaming per year!

Ill get mine on the night of release, Im just that sad of a tech-geek i couldnt not do that

I nearly always wait for a year unless its a Nintendo System.

The price is lower and all productions issues tend to have been ironed out.

I'll get it when it's $250-$299. But I really hope that sony wait at least 3-4 years before releasing PS4 b/c I have already invested too much in a PS3 and I know once I upgrade to PS4, I will never touch the PS3.

Day 1 as im sure it will offer me something i want right away. Like Resistance and BD of the PS3.

Just as long as its $300
