I like to wait first off the day they come out they are TOO EXPENSIVE. Second I like to see which system will best suit my needs. I started out with NES then Super NES, but waited to see the N64 and playstation decided the playstation was for me and jumped. Went PS1 looked around and went PS2. Waited looked around and jumped to the 360. Next gen will look what the three have to offer and make my decsion about a year into the cycle.

A year in prices are down, games are out and plans for year two give me a good picture.

PS3, WII and 360 all great systems depends on what type of console player you are.
