to everyone saying it doesnt look official look at the "official" Zelda Wii art and compare it to this..... it looks 100% official.
its like the same pic drawn from a different perspective.

Finally someone who agrees with my point of view.

Is it just me that likes the amateur one the most?

^^ i think they both look good, just the official one (right) has DEEPER colors and looks more artistic and stylish to me (with the beautiful brush stokes), also it looks more like the Zelda:TP style with the tunic color and all.

still, the unofficial one looks fabulous, i just prefer deeper, more saturated colors and stylish touches personally

t doesn't look official

The official is just more badass really! Though the other one is unbelievably good and close to the official one

looks nice, just doesn't look "official" ;)

the artist tried to make it similar to that actual official Zelda Wii E3 art, with the brush strokes and effects. this looks like it's been done on a computer (photoshop or otherwise) but that official piece looked like it was really painted with a brush, i don't know if it actually was painted but it sure looked like it.

still looks superb, WAY above average, i'd say it's the closest thing to that E3 piece i've ever seen.

I'm pretty sure the "amateur" one was done with color pencils, while the official one was done with oil paints. The other amateur one was done in watercolor (which looks kick ass), but that one specifically brings something crazy to my mind...

Wouldn't it be awesome if Yoshitaka "Final Fantasy" Amano worked on Zelda's art and concept? Of course, together with Nintendo's artists and everyone.

^^ i think that looks beautiful :)

it seems that man Yoshitaka is very talented, but the art piece looks too sophisticated and mature, not in the sex/violence kind of mature, but rather without innocence. It's missing that Zelda feeling

like in NSMBWii, even if you took out mario and kept the worlds, it would still FEEL like mario art, it possesses a certain "je ne sais quoi"
