I asked Brett about this. I am unsure if its forthcoming or not, but I thought I'd ask what other VGC-ers thought.

Given that the mobile gaming market is getting larger, it may make sense to give their titles a forum to call home. I'd really like to discuss iPhone and Android games.

Nah, there's simply not enough hype about hand held games as the console games do. Not saying that's a bad or good thing, it's just that the forum will be slower and much less active than the console forums.

No, for all that matters, mobile games are used just as past times while you're waiting for the doctor or things like that... ie, most people don't put as much dedication to it compared to usual platforms.

Look at how dead the PC forum is. Now thing how "dead-er" a Mobile forum would be. The answer is no, there shouldn't be

I would have said no, but the site does say "video Games, Sales, Charts, News, Reviews, Videos, Forums, Game Cheats - Wii, Xbox, PS3, DS, PS2, PC, Iphone on VGChartz"

But doesn't actually have anything at all in relation to the Iphone. So perhaps it's a good idea. Or perhaps we should just remove the Iphone from the sites title.

Only if this site needs a forum that's posted less than twice a day.

Well, there're some occasional FADE reviews of iPhone game market, so VGC somehow covers it. But mobile gaming discussion section would be useless on VGC.
