It's probably my second favorite online multiplayer game for the PS3, way behind Cod4 :P.
I haven't played it very much but it is a solid online experience.
It was super easy when I played a while back, but the game has been out a while so people are probably a lot better.

Yep, it's great multiplayer.

Obviously the game is not for everyone (in terms of using the controller) but that's life.

Still my favourite online multiplayer FPS so far this gen, just ahead of uncharted2 and COD:MW1.

as much as i love the game, the mp really didn't hold my fancy for all that long. i think what it boiled down to for me was the lack of customizable firepower. i really love that i can modify my cod class to perfectly fit the way i prefer to play.

thinking back, though, i do kind of miss playing some kz2 online.

I totally agree, Killzone multi player is one of the best i have played on both my consoles, being PS3 and 360. Also Uncharted 2 multi player and coop is superb also, if you have a PS3 these are 2 games you have to have, worth every penny.

Yeah Killzone 2's multiplayer was the most fun I've ever had in an online shooter, I used to play for hours. It's funny that you mentioned the lack of racial slurs, my first match some bitch kept yelling "WHITE POWER" and two seconds, but I never experienced anything racial or homophobic rants after that.
