Haha yeah the thing is BIG. But that's the whole point, really. It's a Dsi.... XL. It's a DSi, only bigger. The one defining feature. It's *supposed* to be big, and to be played indoors, mostly. That's how it's being marketed in Japan, too.

Is the DSi XL huge...or is the Wii small?  Think about it.....

Really now, if you're going to have double the screen size, you can't magically have the case be smaller.  Unless we got into image projection or wearing visors...both ideas which have been tried before and failed miserably.  Also I just want to point out...the Game Gear was only 1 screen with a very tiny screen....

No, waste of money. I'm fine with the DS I already have, I'm not gonna buy another for a couple extra features I don't care about.

I am getting two, one for me and one for my wife. Both of us have old DS Lite's that couldd use replacement (her's has a screen that fades when it is fully opened, and mine has a broken hinge just super-glued together). It'll cost me a pretty penny though =P

I have a DS Lite and I plan on sticking with it until Nintendo's next gen handheld. Bigger screens are nice and DSiware seems neat but I'd rather stick with the retail DS games and smaller screen until the next generation (which could be a long way from now. With the DSi and DSi XL at a high price and demand for DS hardware and software quite high, I don't see DS2 getting released for awhile) and use the saved money for a Wii or something.

No, but that's because I seem to skip every other iteration of Nintendo's handhelds. I got a Game Boy, but not the Pocket. I got Game Boy Color and Advance, but not the SP or Micro. I got a DS, but not the DSL, and I got a DSi, so it stands to reason that I'll skip the DSiXL. (That, and I'm happy with my DSi.)
