They did it to Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, DOA, and soon KOF and thats just fine by me because the storylines in those games are sub par to the Tekkenz. Tekken Force fed a great storyline to these fools and they still couldn't get it right! The Tekken storyline is mature enough to give to a wide audience. Damn you Hollywood!

The Mortal Kombat movie was actually probably the best video game movie I ever saw because it was so over the top and stayed true to the characters.

Not that bad considering how Tekken story has become disapoiting/poor/boring repetitive

I mean, it just another fighting game

also, the main character (kazuya Jin right ?) is defintively a bit "weaky" compared to the character

and also, WHERE IS KING ?

Going by the graphics of Tekken 6, I'd say it wasn't that beautiful to begin with

Are you serious? It's a fighting game. Eventually the story is going to lead to a repetitive point where everyone chases the winner of the last tournament, but the storyline is clearly about the Mishima's the Kazama's, the Mishima Zaibatsu and G Corporation. Eventually everything will fall to a world war. Theres no fighting game story that deep. Does this movie look like it could even convey this small definition i've given of Tekken? Sorry man, but no. I respect your opinion so say what you will. 

Street Fighter=the storyline became pointless after SF2

King of Fighters= The storyline was never relevant, just the gameplay.

Dead or Alive= The gameplay and the storyline are both irrelevant. Boobs for all.

Hollywood fucks up a lot of things, no surprise here.
