The same way he knows Strange Journey is the best JRPG of 2010

So what?
I only told you to not "fix" posts, not that you can't call Pokemon the best RPG of 2010 if you want. Just, do not fix other people's posts because they didn't say that
Dragon Quest IV-V, Etrian Odyssey I-II, Final Fantasy IV, Fire Emblem SD, Guadia Quest (in Retro Game Challenge, SRSLY!), Knights in the Nightmare, Pokemon Platinum and Shiren the Wanderer. And if you count them, Zelda PH/ST and Rocket Slime.
This coming year looks EPIC though (SMT Strange Journey, FF Gaiden, DQVI/IX, SaGa2, Lufia 2, Golden Sun, Pokemon HG/SS, Okamiden, etc, etc). There's almost TOO MUCH!!
If you're into old school dungeon crawlers, I recommend Etrian Odyssey and The Dark Spire.
Dragon Quest IV and V are both amazing games (though remakes), and Devil Survivor is great as well.
I would recommend Front Mission if you're a fan of SRPG's, but it's a remake/port.
Upcoming: Strange Journey, Golden Sun DS, Dragon Quest VI/IX, Infinite Space, Ni No Kuni, Final Fantasy Gaiden, etc.
Rune Factory Series, Etrian Odyssey series, Luminous Arc(SRPG), obviously Dragon Quest, Shin Megami Tensei, Nostalgia, Summon Night series, Suikoden, Phantasy Star O, Kingdom Hearts, Avalon Code, Fire Emblem(SRPG), Valkyrie Profile(semi-SRPG), Lunar Knights, Contact, Glory of Heracles(apparently it releases in 2 days according to vgchartz), Lost Magic and of course the Mario & Luigi series all make for a good collection in addition to the remakes and Pokemon games.
Future individual games: Dragon Quest IX, Blood of Bahamut, Golden Sun, Infinite Space, The Another World, Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey, The Four warrior of Light Final Fantasy Gaiden, Rune Factory 3, and Etrian Odyssey 3.
There are also a few Western made games you may like if you wish for me to mention them.
I highly recommend Devil Survivor. I recently wrote a review for this game if you're interested. Can't blame you if you don't want to read it as its a little long.

I gave it an 8.7 where 5 is average, 7 is good, etc, so yeah. The story is the main reason to get this game, imo. You can even have a unique story experience in your second run. The gameplay is strategic and challenging, but all in all rewarding. Fusion and character customization are also some of the game's greatest features.
I also recommend the Dark Spire if you're into first-person dungeon crawlers. It has an incredible art style, good character customization and sound direction. Be warned: the game is pretty challenging.
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is very good too.
Whatever you do, don't get Super Robot Taisen. It's horrible.
