@CrunKE4--Halo 3 hasn't sold 13 million, its only sold 10.7 million copies, and GT5 will sell at least 7-8 million copies.

This "4 million people bought the GT5 demo" is sooo stupid.

This like "4.5 million bought the Halo Reach Beta". Both, the GT5:p and Halo ODST do offer some individual gaming experiences. Both are huge franchises. I think Halo Reach will outsell GT5, just because racing games are not that huge anymore. Need for Speed isn't as big as it used to be, DiRT did well, but not great, Forza 3 is doing well, but not as good as it could have IMO.

The biggest games are those for casuals and for the hardcore the shooter. Look at the record set by MW2, the success of Halo 3 or Gear of War. Not even GTA could beat MW2, which is more or less a franchise frim this gen.

Well Twilight Princess sold about 6m (between GC & Wii) which is still better than Halo ODST at about 4.5m but no where close to Halo 3 at 10m.   Reach is the 4th Halo game this gen and Halo is suffering from being over-milked.   Reach will likely fall somewhere between the sales of ODST and 3.

So if Nintendo makes a Zelda TP2 then it's reasonable sales might be close  (Wii's base is substancially larger now than at launch) but I'd give Reach the edge.

However if Nintendo makes Zelda's more accessible and taps into it's expanded market (girls in particular) it could easily shoot into double digit millions and go places yet another Halo FPS simply cannot.

I'm sorry but nothing is definite until the game is released, it will be a struggle for GT5 to hit 10 million with such a lower userbase.  

MW2 will make it look silly in sales that much is a fact so not sure why you said it would outsell it.

True, but if you've been paying attention as of late the racing fanbase all-around has been dwindling. The FPS fanbase has been increasing since 2001.
