huh? Maybe he wants to play it because he thinks the game will be fun? You're saying this like the only thing that could possibly attract someone to NMH is the gore.

If you are the type to be offended by something, avoid it. Don't ask the thing to be changed. Do you go into Halo if you don't like to see people getting shot?

The entire purpose of NMH is to run around and cut people in half with a sword in over the top cartoonisf fashion.

Then you'll have to deal with all the blood, and probably get someone else to buy it for you, and do it on the down-low. I was playing Turok 2 when I was 13, and that game had a weapon that locked onto your enemy's brainwaves, sent out a guided drill that flew through the air, latched onto their heads, drilled through their skulls, squirted all of their cerebro-spinal fluid out, and then exploded, blowing their entire head off. That game was awesome. No More Heroes looks to be equally awesome. Just for the love of god don't spread it around. The last thing we need is Jack Thompson getting hold of this game. HIS head would explode if he found out that the way you power up is to jerk off your sword. Which you then cut them in half with, causing them squirt out more blood than any 3 people could possibly contain.

apparently cklmb didn't read my post...I have no problem with blood gore and the like, but my wife who likes to watch me play my games doesn't. Having the option to use the japanese version would be a great solution.

And the game obviously isn't focused solely on gore seeing as how the entire japanese version lacks it, and will be just as good as the american version. Telling somebody that they just need to avoid an otherwise fun game because they don't like the blood thats included in one version of it is dumb. I hope it comes with the option to make the pixel death with coins, that's the one I'll use. If not I'll still play it but only when my wife isn't around.
