well there are some good games coming out but nothig like the HD twins. But look at past "core" third party games like conduit, call of duty, those type games just dont sell on the Wii.

Video Game Industry Third Parties

No games have been as exciting as Nintendo games this gen. They really tried to outdone theirselves with great titles such as Super Smash Bros Brawl or even Mario Kart Wii. Yeah, Nintendo console do have problems with third party devs. But if you want to try those HD games, play with a friend who has a PS3 some of the games you wished to have on the Wii.

Many many are not as appealing, as exciting, as fun as Wii games are. New Super Mario Bros Wii doesn't reinvent the platforming genre like Mario Galaxy did, but it is indeed much more fun than Modern Warfare 2 or even Uncharted 2. Multiplayer is a blast... and Nintendo's magie worked again.

To solve the problem, the smartest move would be an alliance with Sony. Sony would take in charge the hardware side of the problem while Nintendo would bring their popular franchises to add with the few of Sony. If this happens someday, then this will be recorded in history.

Nintendo is really better as a third party publisher.

It's just stupid to ignore the fastest selling console ever. It's the choice of the people, the mainstream. Company SHOULD DO ANYTHING to get a piece of all that money Nintendo is making. They wont leave it alone, 67 million userbase is a goldmine.

This. They should better release one or two good games and push them with strong marketing than what they did so far. And capcom did have some success and some options to do well on wii in the future (RE5 wii for example). I don't see pretty much change in third parties' support.

i've played the best the wii has to offer and the best the ps3 has to offer....i'm not sure if third parties have made up their mind on the wii but i sure have: i'm done with it.

They didn't announce anything in 2009, why would they announce anything in 2010 after all their recent statements. Some people need to sniff reality sometimes. Sorry if I sound rude, but that's the truth.

Really. Third parties prefer collective suicide rather than to adapt to the changing videogame market, they want the status quo to last forever. Please, nothing stays the same forever
they are stuck on the HD and hardcore conceptions of the consumer behavior. Sad
