Its japan kamal....their games tastes are really different in some aspects
Uncharted 2 has actually had pretty amazing sales there for what it is.
be pleased uncharted 2 even made the top 2 for them
All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey
Hmmm I guess. Can't they just look at regular porn or hire a hooker?
Glad for FF13 hopefully it will see the same reception here (probably would)

Hopefully the game will be appreciated for what it is. The game is taking many design risks that are just as "risky" as FFXII. There is apprently only one town in the entire game and all shopping are done at save points. They also apparently spreaded out the cutscenes by making them more frequent but making each cutscene shorter on average. The story also seems to rely heavily on flashbacks to a point where it seems S-E employees were watching episodes of Lost when writing the story. They also made the game very linear for the sake of the story.

Good. I miss final fantasy flashbacks. Final Fantasy VI had a ton of them. Look at Tales of Vesperia. It is sad we can´t play it in english on our western PS3s.
Those really sound like good pointers for me, abit of linerity (Is that even a word?) don't sound too bad, as I'll know am not off track from my objective. Looks like we'll have a hybrid MGS/FF experience, best of both worlds.

agreed! since it's FF lots of posters here blew it out of proportion.
We already knew that this game would be getting a really good reception in Japan, and will get a very good reception in NA and EU as well.
It's made by the same people who made FFX, for crying out loud xD As much as people wanted to throw dirt in the face of other FF fans, the truth still remains that the majority of FF fans will appreaciate this game and that it will be a very good JRPG, as all FF's usually are.
This won't stop the massive bad input on FFXIII in this forum though, some people are almost hell bent on completely ruining the reputation of the game, just to satisfy their own pettyness and egoistical needs.
