Hopefully the game will be appreciated for what it is. The game is taking many design risks that are just as "risky" as FFXII. There is apprently only one town in the entire game and all shopping are done at save points. They also apparently spreaded out the cutscenes by making them more frequent but making each cutscene shorter on average. The story also seems to rely heavily on flashbacks to a point where it seems S-E employees were watching episodes of Lost when writing the story. They also made the game very linear for the sake of the story. |
Good. I miss final fantasy flashbacks. Final Fantasy VI had a ton of them. Look at Tales of Vesperia. It is sad we can´t play it in english on our western PS3s.
