BTW why is Taiko Wii doing so well compared to previous iterations?! Taiko usually appears a week before its release. But 40 pts 25 days before release is nothing short of amazing.. especially for a Wii game!

Don't know if you guys would be interested in this but, some of Namco's shipment predictions:
http://www.siliconera.com/2012/11/05/namco-hope-to-sell-650000-copies-of-tales-of-xillia-2/
The Xillia one seems high, almost the same sales as the original game. Super Robot Wars OG seems reachable, and the way run for money has been selling lately I'd say that one's almost definite.
Prediction:
Animal Crossing FW: 485k
3DS Hardware: 125k

That's not shipment predictions, that's LT predictions.
It either means that Namco is overestimating Xillia 2 sales in japan, or that a western version is already on the plans.
See, they expect 1.7 million for Tekken Tag T. 2, 350k for Super Robot Wars and 300k for Run for Money (this will surpass it easily)
Yeah it has to include NA and EU (like the Tekken numbers) otherwise Namco is crazy. Even Tales of Xillia barely did that.
Then again they shipped 770k of Tales of Xillia (Japan + Asia) and so maybe 650k is still their prediction for Japan and Asia only. But that won't happen.
Some more shipment numbers from square.
Kingdom Hearts, while not great, is a million seller - adding the japanese numbers.
Heroes of Ruin... meh, at least not a bomba - release it in japan for 20k more sales square.
Dragon Quest, great for all titles (and will be great for VII).
FF TR - great numbers too... 300k with japanese sales - the sequel can't come soon enough, hopefully with Chrono or Dragon Quest.
I can't believe Square reported a loss despite releasing Dragon Quest X...
You guys will know better than me - what's the HD game that Squeenix's cited as a disappointment, do you think? It's not FF XIV still, is it, because that's not really a HD game in the sense of PS360 yet? Or could it be that?
Just wondering if it's a 3DS game. Idk, I'm sure they don't cost a lot to make, but in that page Vic linked, it says "HD games lineup" then lists a load of 3DS stuff.

Yes, it can be any game there, I think.
Except Dragon Quest X or Dragon Quest Monsters, which they praised the sales. Implying "major" also excludes TR and Heroes of Ruin. So, Sleeping Dogs or Kingdom Hearts - even though none look bomba levels. If it is KH, it can't be the only thing, because... well, no way they expected way more than 650k in the west (as this revision does not include its japanese sales - which I thought were the real disappointment). But in a way, KH probably underperformed, in japan, and maybe in the west.
Boutros believes in a conspiracy to mask final fantasy XIV costs. Maybe.
