NSMB comparison 26 days before release:

NSMB (DS): 78 points
NSMB Wii: 36 points
NSMB 2: 40 pts

NSMB2 gading a bit... though it should be noted that NSMB2 will be a Saturday release as opposed to the past 2 games. So daily increases will vary as weekends are not lined up for the 3 games... Plus this will affect the game's first week numbers..

Hmm based on that weekly chart it doesn't seem like Atelier Ayesha will beat Meruru's first week or even Totori's. That is if Dragon Quest isn't actually up from last week.

It's already slightly above NSMBWii, and that went on to sell 25 and a half million, so I'm not worried. I'd be glad if it would come close to that lifetime. I think everything over 15 million should be considered succesful, I mean, SMB3's 17 million was considered succesful after SMB's 40 million right?

I think the real question is; Will it be able to beat NSMB's 910k or NSMBWii's 940k Japan first week?
