According to the source, the preorder number for DK is larger than kirby's for the same time frame.

Well, as we  know, this preorder chart is nice as a game and some sort of indication but should always be taken with a grain of salt (or maybe a sack...) - unless I remember incorrectly, according to this chart MH3P should have been way bigger than Pokemon B/W , yet its opening week is apparently much lower (according to not only the Japan preview but also according to Capcom's shipment numbers). Not saying it's not a success,  just that its numbers are not in line with this chart. Of course you can blame Capcom's shipment for limiting the first week, but you know, companies ship what retailers order, and retailers order on the basis of preorders and expectations, so it seems to me that if preorders were really that much bigger than B/W, retailers would have asked for more and Capcom would have shipped more.

BTW... when is FF13 releasing for 360 in japan. So weird it aint on the list

Monster Hunter 3 did 1.8 Million week 1 according to the Japan Preview. Thats why I said this was inaccurate a few months ago, it still is very inaccurate. I don't see why all of you make a big fuss out of these numbers, they are misleading.

The game had more preorders than that, also according to the preview. Capcom undershipped.

No COMG is one store and these pre-orders are from that 1 store. I don't know which world all of you are living in but you can't take 1 store and use it as a basis for an entire countries pre-orders.

AFAIK Japan preview is made based on numbers from one shop ;)

And the Japan preview has been misleading in the past too.
