Last story for the Wii should be showing up.

I just thought it was funny such a no-consequence Wii title made it to the top 30, when games that will sell dramatically more like DKCR, Mario Sports and Taiko Wii 3 haven't yet.  Kinda shows where the COMG rankings stand for Nintendo systems.

Nintendo's weird about pre-orders, though yeah, I do we'll see it and the SW3 expansion show up soonish.  Maybe in a month or so?

It's worth noting that COMG counts bundles differently (they split them), so this may negatively impact TLS overall numbers.  Actually, this impacts Tales of Graces Wii too somewhat in the Vesperia/Graces PS3 comparisons, though I kinda doubt the bundles were too big there.  Does the new MH-branded PSP come with MHP3, if so it's true preorders may be higher too?

The 3 games that could have charted this past week for the Wii didn't: Sonic Colors, Winning Eleven 2011 and FlingSmash bundled with the WiiMote Plus. Not that I expected any of them to chart, but it really shows how little interest Japanese Wii owners show for anything that's not a big Nintendo brand. But right now, Mario Sports Mix hasn't appeared either, I do find that somewhat worrying, but looking at Wii Party sales, I shouldn't be worried at all by the preorder-sales ratio. If Kirby is any indication though, the game could underperform.

I think it's a case of the Wii base being inactive, and most of the games sales coming from new owners.

In fairness, using COMG rankings to gauge the overall JP market is about as reliable as using Amazon rankings to gauge the JP market.  Only more games are sold through Amazon.

COMG is pretty reliable for anything that's not casual.
