No, it won't, and there's almost no chance it ever will...
But you know what, I don't believe SE. I think they're lying. They just want the 360 version to sell more.
We will see it on PS3. I think.

It wouldn't have even if International went to PS3 too. FFXIII can be had new for 800 yen in Japan, and it's had the worst legs of any game in the series that we know of. FFXIII International also adds the least new content of any International rerelease, there's also no incentive for double dipping (which is probably why it's gone 360 only).

It can't be had for 800 yen widely.
There was 1 shop and a picture from 2 people showing it at 800 yen
thelifatree who recently went to Japan confirmed its not at 800 yen at all.....that was a baseless rumor made up by Sankaku Complex based on 2 stores.
If SE added enough new content into the International Version it would do as well as FFXII's did with more time to sell over in a gen, but it is only on 360 forever now.
Then again your the person who said DQIX would outsell FFXIII......now this week FFXIII is ahead of DQIX in worldwide sales.....we can see how that turned out, I wouldn't expect you to give it a fair chance tehehehe

I also accuse them of promoting child molestation.

It was pretty disappointing by International standards, though better than XIII International is (which afaik is just adding the english dub).

Also, VGC might be undertracking DQIX in western territories. The game did way better it's first NPD than VGC tracking had it at, and Nintendo's said it's doing better than they expected also, and now they're predicting it to be another "evergreen" in America/Europe. Hopefully it does well enough for Nintendo to give out figures in their next IR doc, be nice if we had another Layton on our hands...

Jarrod is right in the case of Japan a lack of casual audience on PS3 in Japan led to FFXIII, Hot Shots Golf and even MGS4 not doing the best their series has done before in that region, And the same will happen to GT5 The west is a completely different story. |
Actually MGS4 sold about the same amount as previous MGS games
MGS1: 781k
MGS2: 869k
MGS3: 831k
MGS4: 818k (still selling)
