I'm just wondering. Why do many people hate Sega?

To be honest, I'd probably say Sega is giving me the games that I want and love this gen such as Valkyria Chronicles, Bayonetta, the upcoming End of Eternity, and most likely DC emulation (if the rumors are true).

In terms of RPGs, I think Sega is delivering more than Square Enix (this generation). 

Don't look at me. I even liked Golden Axe: Beast Rider.

What? Do people hate Sega? First I've heard of it! (of course, there are bound to be a few who hate it, but I've never seen any significant amount of hatred directed towards them). Are you sure this isn't the hostile media effect?

Saber will not be pleased, and he has a knuckles plushie to, so watch out gents!

Anyways, as far as giving more RPG's overall, yes i'd say SEGA > Square enix easy this gen, they also gave us the best phantasy star game ever made and its sequel!

This forum shows quite the contrary, people love Sega in here, sometimes way too much :P

Sega through the ages have given us some trully magnificent games, from Sonic, to the Phantasy Star saga, Shenmue, Panzer Dragoon, Nights, Story of Thor, and most recently Valkyria Chronicles and Bayonetta ;)

Maybe if they had a bit more sense in the hardware side in the past, they could still be a major player in that market nowadays.

Not on this site... we just hate the last 10 Sonic games... that's not the same..

I could never hate Sega or understand anybody hating Sega, even when they troll Nintendo or make horrible games or kill their franchises. They're a legit game company from the oldschool and I'll love them forever. Hating Sega is almost as weird as hating Nintendo.
