In-fuc-kin-credible. In ONE month Wii almost sold as much as 360 or PS3 did for the whole year in the US. Nintendo said over 3m they were close to 4!



Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:


If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

Our US estimates were about 3 million so we could potentially seem some adjustments.  We might wait til financial reports though to make major adjustments as NPD isn't 100% right either.  But I doubt NPD is to far out of the ballpark just like VGC isn't that far out of the ballpark either.

Adjustments usually come after NPD is posted; more so after holidays like this. Will take a few weeks though.....

Well congrats to the Wii. Part of me is just secretly wishing it had gotten to 4.5 or something to completely beat the YTD sales of either HD system. Now that would have been epic
