Forums - Nintendo Discussion - First Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars

Nintendo Power gave it a 9.

They said, "Everything is full bore, nonstop, over-the-top crazy in this video-game-meets-anime explosion. Characters don't just rely on fists and feet; expect laser beams, swords, spears, missiles, pistols, brooms, drills, baseball bats, bombs, and giant robots--lots of giant robots."It's built around the traditional, precise, responsive battling that Capcom's fighting games are known for, complete with skill-based special moves and a broad array of standard grounnd-and air-based attacks.""You'll be in for a graphical treat. This is a seriously good-looking game--further evidence of just how slick third-party Wii titles can look when the developers put in the proper effort. The characters and backgrounds (which are also inspired by Tatsunoko and Capcom properties) are bursting with detail, and virtually every move is accompanied by snazzy special effects.""Our Wi-Fi experience was impressively smooth, and it was easy to jump online and find a match."

Nintendo Power said their only complaint is that most of the minigames and the fully animated endings are gone from the original Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generations of Heroes that was released only in Japan.

I'm 100 times excited for this game now. I can't wait to play as Karas (my avatar).

O I will eventually get NMH2..just not immediately same with Bayonetta, NMH was a good game, but not good enough to have me spending a Xtra 50 especially especially when college starts the week of the 25th

Yes.... they will be Main team

Very Impressive reviews so far. All have been 80-90%. I wonder why they dropped some of the mini-games from the japanese version. Oh well, we have online and they didn't.

If you look around online you can find the Hori Arcade Stick for about $50 on Wii. I think Amazon.com still has it for $49.99. If you are really luckly your local Gamestop will still have them in stuck. Gamestop sells them for $39.99 but most of them have been sold already.
