Too bad I never played the first one, so I won't understand anything.

time for a rental methinks

Should definitely play the first one. I heard there's a lot of fanservice like peeking in on old levels from the outside and seeing how much more they decayed and stuff. Plus a cult of splicers that worship the protagonist Jack.

The first BioShock 2 reviews have arrived, via both PSM3 and PC Gamer magazines... and it's good news.

PSM3 awarded the follow-up 93%, saying it "Tops the original in terms of storytelling and combat."

PC Gamer meanwhile went with a lower but still impressive score of 90%, concluding that "the mechanics that made the original BioShock such fun return, better than before," and "it's still better written than pretty much anything else out there."

i'm guessing there isn't too much you need to know going into the sequel but i can run the story down for you if you want.

cool I'd like that, in PM's ofcourse

but I had heard its really worth experiencing, I mean me & my friend might share a rental for it

I'll PM you if I want to know the story :)

i would definetly say it is worth experiencing.  ...and it's a relatively short game with no MP, you could easily beat it in a weekend if you wanted to.
