i bet Bayonetta would have had better sales if the PS3 version was better, i myself want the game but i am waiting for a patch, many are doing the same, and Sega was wrong thinking that NA gamers will appreciate the superior x360 veriosn and buy the game.
Bayonetta and hack and slash games overall tend to perform slightly better on the PS3.

What I want to know is where are those people that bought Devil May Cry 4 in north america.

"Gimped" or not Bayonetta rapes devil may cry 4 in just about everything...Ps3 or 360.

the hype my friend, DMC is a long running series wz very cool hero, while Bayonetta is a new IP wz a female heroine who tries to act cool.

i was hoping for DMC5 in Bayonetta style, that would be the best thing to do.

I think it's because Darksiders has a WoW-like art style, which I think is much more appealing to the average gamer.

Describe Bayonetta to someone and see the reaction "This witch with guns on her feet kills angels with her hair, which is also her clothing.". Its a tough sell for a American audience on premise alone.

Word to the wise, even if Bayonetta sounds ridiculous give it a shot and I promise that you wont be disappointing especially if you are a fan of action games.

Im one of those XD ...and yea i find Bayonetta much more fun than DMC.

There was hype for Bayonetta? before release the only hype i hear about it is how horrible the PS3 port is, if you call that hype.  Expected the PS3 version of Bayonetta not to sell very well at all.  Good for Darksiders sales all round.

These type of games don't sell extremely well. DMC and GoW are the only ones that can break 2mil. The rest either sell 1 million or less.
