It's not doing worse in first week sales for either platform.  I guess Madworld might have more legs, but I don't see that as being something I would bet on.

Yeah, i don't see it having more legs either.  I mean it's a Wii game sure... but from what i understand it's a short wii game.


I think often "Wii Legs" are created by the fact that said wii games are the kinds of games that people want to play "forever" games that people don't trade in.

Mostly though because i have pale white skin.  Pink looks HORRIBLE on me.

I would say that Bayonetta has a better chance of gaining some legs from word of mouth than Madworld did, just based on being a better game.  Beyond that it's pretty up in the air if it'll show legs or if it will end in disappointment.

That's why I said "possibly." Bayonetta has a better debut but if neither version has legs they may end up at frighteningly similar places. Then again, Sega drops prices quickly so that might give it some extra life.

I am just mostly shocked as I figured it would blow Madworld away in sales and, well...it didn't. Out of the 3 games announced, this was clearly Platinum's biggest. Not sure what to think or how they'll react with sales like these...

I know 3 people that are buying Bayonetta this week. Mostly because they want me to shut up and stop harrasing them how amazing the game is... So the game may have legs.

Otherwise it will be one of those classics that you will never find used unless you pay 50 bucks on ebay.

I think the main reason why darksiders sold more because I lot of people try games by buying it. If you wanted to try darksiders or play it you had to rent it or buy it. In bayonetta's case there's a demo for that :|.

Im on the oposite side of the fence. I didn't buy darksiders cause there was no demo.

What do you have to hide THQ? Too much QTE perhaps?
