I appreciate KZ2 and Halo are 2 totally different types of FPS and the question I ask is hypothetical. However, after seeing the Halo Reach trailer, I seen a gritter Halo game. It looks more serious, less colourful and what if the gameplay has evolved to be more serious too?

I understand different people will enjoy Halo for different reasons, but a change in gameplay may split the fan base.

I personally think Halo Reach is looking better than any previous Halo. I appreciate its more serious tone; it helps me immerse myself in the story and the actual war more so than before. Therefore, if it did play like KZ2, I personally wouldn't mind, but I can understand if some people would feel differently about it.

What are your thoughts?

I love the Halo universe, and I can't see them going all the way to Killzone 2 type controls (in fact, I bet it'll be even tighter and faster), so I don't see why I wouldn't still love it.

I don't think they will go all the way KZ2 either, but I think they may make the warzone similar to the warzone in KZ2, where there is gunfire and blasts all around, where you have to at times move forward as a team to push the enemy back.

I don't think Halo will go for cover mechanics or gun physics like KZ2, but i do think they will rank up the enemy A.I and notch up the intensity of the war.

Either way, I am very much dying to see more of Halo Reach.

I think you have it wrong, will i like Halo if it plays more like Call of Duty?

Yeah.

It is going to play like Halo 3 and CE combined with some additional features like armor abilities. Expect it to be very much Halo in control.

Oh wait, it's a different Halo, sure, but I know it won't be another KZ2 alright. They said recently, if I recall correctly, that on the screen they can have 40 A.I.s all around and more than 20 vehicles at the same. That's quite something! Like any typical Halo, I believe the vehicles will be an important part of Reach. With that said, it's probably only the graphics that will change, oh and maybe the customization on your character and stuff.

Halo 3: ODST was darker than previous Halo games, but it wasn't as successful as the other Halo games because it didn't have a multiplayer component of its own. Plus, the campaign mode was a hit or miss. The hub is really really boring, sadly, and the missions are not long enough. It was a nice little game though, but I believe it was hard to justify buying an "expansion" for 60$ with the same Halo 3 multiplayer experience.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

Hell no.

Halo has a unique style and doesn't take itself too seriously. That's what I love about it.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

I'm neither a huge Halo fan nor Killzone fan but Halo definitely wouldn't be as good if it was like KZ2. Halo is all about jumping high and running and gunning; Killzone is a slower paced game where you have to take it slow or you'll get your head picked off instantly.

Halo wouldn't work if it was like Killzone.

I like Killzone 2 a lot more then Halo, but Halo is it's own game. There is a reason all these shooters play differently. It's cause they're different games. Let Halo be Halo, COD be COD, and Let killzone be killzone before the stupid patch.

CURRENTLY PLAYING:  Warframe, Witcher 2
