Bayonetta at 90k Isnt too good.. i was hoping for atleast 120k, did the bad PS3 port have anything to do with this? Hopefully it should have good legs .. LTD should be 400-500k NA...

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

The PS3 version is sure to hurt it. Looking at DMC4 - the most obvious point of reference - while it sold more on 360 in US due to install base, it also sold pretty well on PS3 too, whereas Bayonetta is sure to lose some sales due to the quality of the port.

However, if true then those 360 numbers aren't too good either compared to DMC4 launch, considering the install base is larger in US now. I think this title has launched at wrong time in terms of initial sales - too many people will be too short of cash right now I suspect - and is going to have to rely on legs to see decent sales.

Due to the port, it's going to require particularly good legs on 360 I think, unless a patch or something improves the PS3 version - but that would probably come too late to change general perception.

Really, due to the apparently late decision to create a port, this title has been harmed in perception and is sure to perform below what it would have done had it released with shining praise on both consoles.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Yah, good point. It does have some immediate and iminent competition for the same kind of gamer. That probably hurt it too.
