Hmm, saving all the local for a "best" version for FF13 in Japan? Since the two games need the same content at release, who is to say they cannot add all of these locals later?

I would not blame MS. Not a bad move on their part to pick up FF13 and make sure content is equal.

I would not blame Sony. I doubt the multiplat treatment will affect game sales on Sony consoles (atleast not enough to really matter)

I would not blame SE. When offered a Galactic Emperor's Ransom, you would take it wouldnt you?

Id take a page out of the South Park book and BLAME CANADA!

this has nothing to do with DVD vs Bluray. this is a PR drop to a gaming website to get people talking about upcoming down loadable content. Every company has adopted the policy of DLC to gain extra profits, if you don't like that concept then don't by the DLC and they'll get the message.

This. And have you already thought that all explorable (HD) areas of the game probably would not fit in a dual layer dvd? Sum cutscenes and audio. OMG, IMHO they had a big headache to cut and rearrange areas of the game.
