I disagree.. DVD has advantages. For one- game installs are not madatory and load times are lesser than the PS3 on avg. Region locked is stupid. It doesnt do anything for the consumer. As for disk space- barring some RPG's, DVD9 is more than sufficient atm.

dvd9 is far from sufficiant, its just most devs dont take advantage of it but its a part reason why PS3 exclusives are so superior.

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

No chance a full $100 price drop will happen. Natal will most likely keep it at $200. However, a packed in Natal is out of the question.

I was just stating a reaction to a $100 price drop. Hell even a $50 price drop would boost sales in a big way. There isn't much more they can add outside of Natal, a free wi-fi adaptor and a packed in game. Live will never be free for obvious reasons.

the real question is, MS already have profit from x360 compare to high price component on ps3 , + profit from add-on , profit from xbox live, they can if they want , to cut xbox 360 > 50 USD. and they have this for almost 4 years, where PS3 sell at a lost. That's why the removing linux. removing ps2 chips etc, when MS adding more function to their Mainboard

so the questions is, it is almost means nothing if ps3 sell at 200K / week, if it don't give sony profit, when their 1st party game sales not too good , plus they don't have xbox live like services.

Actually DEJELEK the question has always been how much is the BR victory worth, cause if you dont know any sony PS3 profits talk is worthless.

PS3 1st party sales have been great, educate your self before you post next time.

Yahh they dont force you to pay for online, thank god they dont have a live like service.

Wasn't the old Xbox flamed in japan for being too big, While the Fat PS3 was bigger then that! Yet no one complained then.

Anyways MS hasn't released enough games that fit the taste of the Japanse gamers the last few months!
