Forums - Gaming Discussion - Assassin's Creed II.......full synchronization?

OK, here's my deal.  I have Assassin's Creed II at 100% completion.  I have collected all treasures, feathers, armor, weapons, and paintings.  I have Altair's Armor, I have the Auditore Cape, I have every event available completed in every town, and I have The Truth completed.  In fact, I have 100% of all trophies for this game, and according to Claudia's book at the Villa, I am at 100%.

BUT--in the DNA menu, I don't have everything completed.  Apparently there are still beat up events, races, and assassinations that I have not finished yet because the square is not filled in on the chart.  The problem is that none of the events are available on the map to complete anymore.  Is this just the way the game is, or is there going to be more revealed in the upcoming DLC that will allow me to complete these?  I know the two DLC things are at least 1 GB each, and I know that there are still parts of Venice I can't get into.  Maybe all this stuff will be revealed in the DLC?  I have to wonder if one of the new trophies in the DLC will be 100% synchronization which would mean the remaining events are now available.

Anyone know anything about this?

as far as i know, some events do exist twice or more, so if you start it at Map point X, it'll vanish on map location Y.

@DNA: level 12-14 are simply not available, thats the upcoming dlc.

I'm a Foreigner, and as such, i am grateful for everyone pointing out any mistakes in my english posted above - only this way i'll be able to improve. thank you!

Crystalchild,

lol, the upcoming DLC are already "mentionned" in the game

so pathetic ...

They leave that out because they were running out of time and they thought the game is already big enough. They wanted that Q4 release.

Without the possibility of DLC, no one could ever play the "lost levels".

So where's the difference between picking up Assassin's Creed 2  3-4 months later for a cheaper price + paying for the DLC (real scenario) and picking up AC2 at launch in Q1 2010 with the DLC already being in the game for full price (fictional) ?

As far as I can say, this kind of DLC is a blessing for the developers and also a good thing for us.

As far as Assassin's Creed II is concerned, I am loving the fact that there's more content coming.  The game is already huge and entertained me for many many many hours.  This could be my second favorite game of 2009, Uncharted 2 being the first.  The story was awesome, and I have never had so much fun trying to get all the trophies/achievements.  In fact, this is the only game I have ever played where I've gotten them all--I have the in game counter to 100% as well as the trophy list.

Which brings me back to my original question:  How to I sync to 100%????  Even after starting my Uplay account and exploring the family vault, I think I'm still only 98.4% synced in the DNA list.  I just hope I can become fully synced in the DLC.  I'm going for 100% full completion in this game, and it just doesn't count if I'm not all the way synced.

bump--anyone heard anything about this or have any advice?

Although I don't know what the OP's obsession is, is he trying to get an achievemnt or something, or just 100% it? I'll be content with just all the achievements. The feathers are just so much of a pain in the ass

I think the reason that you can't get the perfect 100% is because of the Templar Lairs that were only available on certain editions of the game. I have like 97.6% and I can't go any higher.
