Ok so i've really been looking at bayonetta a lot and as i only have a ps3 i've been wondering if its worth picking up.

-I enjoyed the demo and found it to be very playable and if the major problems that everyone is complaining about are present in the demo then i should have no problem with the game (basically does the game play equally or better than the ps3 demo?)

-many people have said that the games problems are overblown and that its really not bad

-I'm inclined to believe the game is still pretty good as its still garnered at least 8s from the sights who claim it has so many problems and 8 is still a good score

so please help me out guys is it worth buying? maybe at a discount price in the future? or should i just pass it over completely?

If you do not have a 360, yes.

The PS3 version isn't bad by any means, it's just not as good as the 360 version.

Either version you get, you're getting an excellent game.

Dude, why not?

The differences, that I've read are minimal. I mean maybe the game is *slightly* better on the 360, but why should that stop you from enjoying it on your PS3?

Do it. Its silly to not get a game because its slightly better on another platform. The fact that people obsess over PS3 and 360 differences doesn't make them important.

from wat the guys up said i might get it on ps3 too since here they get the games on ps3 like 1 month before on 360 :P but if they get it on 360 i think i shud just get it on 360 :P

They aren't actually really overblown, the problems are pretty big ones (frame rate plus menu loading times) but the fact it's such a good game overlooks those pretty big annoyances.

Anyone that has a 360 and a PS3 should without a doubt get the 360 version, there's no reason not to get the 360 version if you have the option.  You can't even bring Live into the argument because there's no multiplayer.  This isn't one of those simple preference questions because one is very much better than the other.

Things like FFXIII you can argue all day which one to get because they're both essentially the same except for minor differences that come down to taste.  In a game like Bayonetta's case, the 360 version is just better.  It's not a taste thing, nobody likes to wait 6 seconds to get into a menu and bad framerate.

But that said, again, Bayonetta for the PS3 is still an excellent game that I would even recommend people who don't like that type of game try.  I hate games like Devil May Cry and God of War but I'm enjoying the shit out of Bayonetta.

Good game is a good game.

Odd. Future. Wolf. Gang. Kill. Em. All. OFWGKTA Don't give a fuck!

Fuck Steve Harvey. FREE EARL!

Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the GREATEST game EVER made!!!

I'd take a bullet for Square-Enix!

of course. you get the best one you can and since you don't have an xbox, the you just go with the ps3 version

"Frame-rate is often running at half the speed of the 360 version and the performance impact, combined with the sheer amount of stuff going on, essentially makes the PS3 version more confusing than playable"

"While the Falling Clock Tower is one of the worst-performing sections of the PS3 code, it doesn't end there. Throughout the game the gap in performance is colossal, and pretty much unprecedented."

"After general performance, the loading is probably the most annoying element of the PS3 version. Between-level loading is long enough, but by and large it does not impact the game experience. However, Bayonetta also loads in-game, streaming object data whenever you collect a new item. This ranges from a couple of seconds to five seconds and upwards, presumably depending on how far the BD's laser has to move to find the relevant data. Simply pausing the game incurs a similarly unpredictable loading time."

"Not only does RAM availability seemingly affect the loading times, it also has a fairly fundamental impact on the quality of the graphics too."
