has my vote....i would say its the best but sony has so many awesome first party titles...ITS A TIE!!!....but gow wins though, its so good...i just wish kratos looked differently, yeah hes badass, but hes ass ugly lol

God of War 1 & 2 are fantastic, but I think so is Uncharted 1 & 2. Both series are wonderfully cinematic and provide awesome gameplay.

IMO the best games out there along with oldies like Mario64 and SMW (Mario is more family friendly though).

i just got GOW Collection today. 50 dollaers, well spent. Its my 3rd most enjoyable game from 2009.But I cant decide which weapon i should use, chains of oylmpus or Athena's Blade. HELP ME DECIDE

Hell yeah, back in PS2 days. But i am playing 1st GOW right now, while i type this. Oh look, i just escaped from Hades

Uncharted is now Sony's best franchise, though GoW is amazing

God of War is no doubt one of the best. The only thing you said which is crazy is , GOW craps all over Uncharted. HELL NO. I love GOW its one of my very favorites, I have been waiting for GOW3 for so darn long seems forever. Uncharted on the other hand is also a nother superb series, Uncharted 3 will also be great. Being a Ps3 owner we are so lucky we have the best games to play on any other platform, and many more great titles to come. One thing is true, If you own a PS3 and have not played GOW 1 and 2 go out buy the collection, its amazing , there is nothing else like it, you have the time to play both and beat them in time for GOW3 so you really understand the story, its a great one. Go buy it, you WILL NOT REGRET IT.

It's definitely one of the most original, creative, and extravagant games of any Sony franchise, but it's definitely not Sony's strongest game.
People don't want beautiful cinematography and perfect camera angles, off-beat puzzles, or re-invention.

Just look at the sales. Hopefully this game sparks a new die-hard fanbase, but I think it will remain more of a niche game, sadly.
