For me, GT is Sony's best franchise. Not a fan of the God of War series, but that is from personal taste, and my opinion.

If you could reveal upto what point you played the game, I can judge whether you would like it better later on or not...

I got to the Rooftops of Athens. It might very well of gotten better, but as I see it. it is the games responsibility to make me want to continue playing

Holy shit you have to keep playing ! Just force yourself through it ! Its teh AWESOME ! Especially Pandora's temple...The puzzles are brilliant !

And please do try the second one too (if your mate has it). Its much better.

Its good but its not Sony's best. I'd put Gran Turismo and Uncharted ahead of it. Maybe even Ratchet & Clank.

I don't have a Ps2 or a b/c PS3. I also play on PSN/Live at my friends house. so I would rather do that 

I would say Ratchet, due to the sheer number of quality games in the franchise (ACiT brings it to 7, to God of War's 3).

GoWII, however, is my favourite Sony game, and perhaps my favourite game. GoW1 isn't far behind. Chains of Olympus is one of my favourite PSP games, but then I don't own many. And GoW3 is my most anticipated game.

Atleast buy the Collection ! Just 30 bucks - 2 "good" games in your opinion.
