God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5 and Heavy Rain. Maybe Halo Reach could reach these games.

GT5 easily. GoW3 2nd, HR 3rd. Alan Wake is miles off GT5 (it has same graphics as Res Evil 5). Then KZ3 in 2011 ;) And to the guy who mentioned Forza, be quiet lol. That games graphics are terrible compared to what they were made out 2 B.

PS3: GT5
360: Fable III
PC: Crysis 2
WII: SMG2

Its not even close lol, GT5 blows away every other game on consoles and we've seen motion footage to prove it (unlike Forza where screenshots looked great, game looked average and unrealistic)

Here is my short list. (The order could be mixed up a bit. Oh well)
Top 5 console games graphics candidates for 2010:
1. Alan Wake- best looking 360 game for 2010.
2. Final Fantasy XIII - best looking multi-platform game for 2010.
3. Crysis 2- second best looking multi-platform game for 2010.
4. Heavy Rain - best looking PS3 game for 2010.
5. Gran Turismo 5 - second best looking PS3 game for 2010.

I think this year Xbox will have best visuals of the year, along with best gameplay of the year (in terms of exclusives). Right now, Heavy Rain doesn't seem to be topping anything off from all the HD footages iv seen, and GT5 I guarantee you will not beat Forza 3 visually, but maybe be on par. Alan Wake is shaping up to be the best visual of the year, but I really cannot say. But no doubt it will be tight this year. If you can imagine GOW2 was over a year & a half ago, imagine the progress MS have made with their console now. Uncharted 2 was very recent, and it seems PS3 will reach its plateau soon, as its weak GPU and excessively low memory bandwidth will eventually be its limiting factor. Sorry but thats just my opinion

Well its pretty damn obvious that crysis 2 will whoop everything else. Look even better on pc tho, wew goooo pc.

Crysis 2, no contest. Not sure if it will release this year so.... second choice would be: Unannounced Q4 game.
